Mike graduated from the University of Durham with a Degree in Biological Sciences, and a general confusion as to how little music had been involved in getting it. Having a passion for the Piano, the Organ and the Tuba, he eventually rectified this issue by completing a Masters Degree in Audio Engineering. Mike is almost as happy playing and writing for these instruments as he is getting down to the geekier side of things, whether this be location recording, audio restoration, editing and sculpting audio, or shaking down any technology that’s causing problems.

“The Villains on Film project has given me the opportunity to branch out into areas that I wouldn’t have otherwise got involved with, while the creative freedom and technical challenges that short-form video offers keeps me eternally fascinated and inspired.”

Mike is currently on the books to produce two further albums this year, and also acts as VoF’s technical director.
